Dear Parents,

This Sat, the Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm.

Rain is in the forecast for Sat. At this time, we are not sure when and what condition the tennis court will be in. Students please still bring your rackets. If it rains, or if the tennis court is too wet, we will have to cancel the tennis class. If it is cancelled, students can wait in the office for pick up.

All other classes will be normal.

Congratulations to Michelle Hsu, the 2nd place winner in the Chinese Calligraphy contest by SCCCS!

Our DBCS handwriting contest result is out too. Congratulations! The list of outstanding students from each class will be posted on our website.

Dear Parents,

This Sat, the Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00am-12:30pm.

It is the last Sat of October. Halloween time! Since Halloween is one of the most favorite time for the kids, we will also have a Halloween parade to let our students to show their Halloween spirits. This Sat, all students can wear their Halloween costumes to the Chinese school. Just make sure the costumes are of good taste. We will also give younger students a chance to have a little "trick or treat". The parade will be about 9:30-10:00am. If parents want to help, such as bring some treats, or hand out treats to students, please do. Easting inside the classrooms is forbidden. We will advise students to NOT eat any treats at school. All Halloween activities are optional.

Most costumes can be worn throughout the day. However, two elective classes, Dance and Tennis, proper clothing is required.

又到了十月的最后一个周六。 万圣节是孩子们最喜欢的日子之一。按照传统， 我们会有一个“万圣节“的庆祝活动。欢迎同学们穿戴他们喜欢的万圣节服装来中文学校。 我们会有“Trick or Treat" 的活动。活动从9:30开始， 大约20-30分钟。家长如果愿意帮忙，欢迎您， 或者带一些Treats， 或者帮忙给小朋友们分发。教室里禁止吃零食。 所以，我们会建议同学们不在学校吃这些糖果。

学生们可以着万圣节服装上课，但在舞蹈和网球课上，请学生们穿合适的服装。

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 10/21, the Chinese school will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm. Please arrive and pick up on time.

The 2023 SCCCS (Southern California Council of Chinese Schools) Fall  Academic Competition registration is open and will end on 10/22. Attached is the announcement. Registration fee is $15. If interested, please go to the office to register this Saturday.

This Sat, there will be NO Paper Sculpture class. Students of that class can either go home or stay in the office to wait for pick up.

Dear Parents,

This Sat, 10/14, the Chinese School will have regular classes from 9:00-12:30pm. Yoga class for parents is 9:30-10:30am.

Diamond Bar High Students will take the PSAT test in the gym. So we may need to move the Yoga class and the dance class to the Dance Room. Please go to the Aerobic Room 851 first, if unavailable, go to the Dance Room 903.

Please remind our students to take care of their textbooks, jackets and water bottles. Our "lost and Found" bin has been filled up too fast. Please come to office to look for lost items.

本周六，钻石吧高中在蓝球馆有PSAT考试，我们有可能无法使用球馆2楼的Aerobic Room. 请上瑜伽课的家长，舞蹈课学生的家长，先去2楼的Aerobic Room 你（851）, 如果无法使用，就去舞蹈教室（903）。

请家长们提醒自己的孩子，经管好自己的书本，衣服，水瓶等用品。下课时，整理好，检查好。我们办公室的“失物招领”处的东西越来越多，请有丢失物品的学生家长，及时去办公室领回物品。
